Biography:

David B. Durrett is a principal in the law firm of CohenDurrett. Mr. Durrett's expertise is in the areas of commercial real estate leasing, financing and development. He has served as general counsel for a regional mall developer and represented several state agencies in conjunction with large real estate projects. Moreover, he has supervised shopping center projects in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Wyoming.

Mr. Durrett has written numerous articles and taught several courses concerning commercial leasing and real estate transactions. He has acted as a lecturer for Lorman Education Services, National Business Institute and the Continuing Education of the Bar.

Mr. Durrett was admitted to the Bar in 1982 after attending law school at U.C. Davis. His undergraduate degree was obtained at the University of San Francisco, where he graduated summa cum laude with a major in history. He is a former board member and officer of the Developmentally Disabled Service Organization, Inc., a former board member of the Sacramento Public Library Foundation, and a current member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
